Connected health
Health Connect data
Bring supported Samsung Health and other Android health records into VitalHow through the companion app. You choose the permissions and when syncing happens.
Android companion
One bridge for Samsung Health and Android health data.
VitalHow reads through Android Health Connect rather than using a Samsung-only backend. The current companion is read-only and syncs only when you press Sync.

Permission-controlled by you
VitalHow cannot read Health Connect directly from the browser. The Android companion asks Android for permission, reads only the categories you approve, and sends selected records to your configured VitalHow server. You can revoke access in Android at any time.
Optional tracking goals you choose. General adult references include 150 activity minutes/week and a lower-sodium eating pattern; age, pregnancy and medical conditions can change suitable goals. Food totals are based on what you enter, not a nutrient database.
Food & sodium
What was on your plate?
Use sodium per serving from a label or a reliable recipe calculation. Include snacks and sauces. Partial diaries do not establish your full daily intake.
Copy your existing prescription instructions; this app does not choose a medicine or dose. Daily schedules only. Check-ins are self-reports, not proof of dosing. For a missed dose, follow the medicine leaflet or contact your pharmacist; never change treatment based on a BP graph.
Track your daily routine plus temperature, oxygen, breathing rate and glucose. Your latest weight and profile height update the BMI screening.

Understand the numbers
BMI is a starting point.
BMI is weight in kilograms divided by height in metres squared. It does not distinguish muscle from fat. Adult categories require age 20+ and a non-pregnant context; the app uses birth year conservatively.
Pulse here means measured at rest. Wearable daily-average heart rate stays in Connected health and is not used as an exercise target.
Save multiple readings per day. Record the time, device, meal context and how you felt. This guidance supports a care plan; it does not diagnose disease.

Guidance sources & how this plan works
Plans use transparent rules, not a diagnosis. The 14-day BP average includes upper-arm-cuff and manually recorded BP; wrist, smartwatch and unverified imported devices are excluded. A recent concerning symptom or very high latest reading takes priority. Meal and activity schedules are original starter examples informed by the sources below.

Reminders that fit your day.
Choose your times and timezone. Completion and snoozes sync with your account.
Due reminders appear in this app. Optional browser alerts work while the app is open and may be delayed by your device. Import the calendar file for reminders when the app is closed; enable alarms in your calendar. Exports cover the next 30 days and do not update automatically.
